When: Wednesday 22 July
Time: 3.00pm AEST
Duration: 1 hr
The performance of a GCL as a single liner or as part of a Composite Liner depends on GCL hydration and degrees of saturation.
Following the success of our first webinar in this Barriers Series, The Effect of Subgrade Conditions on GCL Hydration, this second webinar will focus on The Effect of Other Parameters on GCL hydration and performance, such as:
– Confining stress
– GCL placement
– GCL structure, etc.
In addition, this webinar will provide the latest updates and research findings including design considerations and latest discussion from International Geosynthetics Society (IGS) Technical workshop 2020 on barriers in Barcelona.
